Grammar: Present Tenses

In English, there are four main Present Tenses.

  • Present Simple – (I, you, we and they) have/don’t have. (He, she and it) has/doesn’t have
  • Present Continuous – (I) am/am not having. (You, we and they) are/aren’t having. (He, she and it) is/isn’t having.
  • Present Perfect – (I, you, we and they) have had/haven’t had. (He, she and it) has had/hasn’t had.
  • Present Perfect Continuous – (I, you, we and they) have been having/haven’t been having. (He, she and it) has been having/hasn’t been having.
